Project Estimator job in Carver at Wylander Solutions

This full-time, high estimating volume position will allow after training, flex hours as well as work from home a portion of the week. The Estimator reports directly to the Production Manager/Operations Manager and is responsible for providing estimates from of on-site takeoff’s and MatterPoint 3-D scans by others. This is a 90% to 100% in office position. The Estimator’s primary focus is to complete estimates for the production manager’s including sub contractor bids and material quotes. This person is responsible for creating fast and accurate estimates in Xactimate system with a corresponding budget in excel.

Compensation:

• Base salary: $80,000 to $83,000
• Employee is eligible for company bonus plan

Responsibilities:

• That all policies and procedures of the company are followed during the estimating phase.
• Interface with sales and production to make sure production knows what they are “buying”
• Complete Xactimate estimates for initial loss, supplements and any change orders for the Project Managers.
• Establishing budgets upfront on all projects.
• Assist sales with proposal generation and with PO’s to vendor’s and sub-contractors.
• Perform all other duties as may be assigned

Requirements:

• 5+ years of “working” Estimator experience. Must have proven track record in residential estimating between 25k to 500k.
• Xactimate Experience is a plus
• Experience in residential construction is required and/or other related restoration services required.
• Strong Computer skills
• Strong interpersonal communication skills needed
