Mitigation Project Manager job in Milwaukee at Wylander Solutions

Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Project Manager for a full-service disaster restoration company located in the Greater Milwaukee area. As a Mitigation Project Manager, you will be responsible for responding to and managing a variety of property damage claims to residential and commercial structures. The Mitigation Project Manager must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills as they will be required to interact with customers suffering from the traumatic experiences brought on by catastrophic events such as a house fire or water line break in the property. The Mitigation Project Manager will need to be able to make the customer comfortable that their structure is going to be handled with the best care. This role is for someone with high energy, who is self-motivated and able to sell services in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Completes site inspections
• Gathers and inputs data compiled during field inspections in order to prepare accurate, timely field documentation
• Works directly with project payees, such as property owner and insurers to address and resolve time-sensitive property damage
• Maintains accurate logging of all relevant communication pertaining to each job file and ensures compliance with all third-party provider standards
• Manages a large amount of information with multiple, time-sensitive tasks, in a detail-oriented fashion
• Demonstrates knowledge of general construction and property damage mitigation and restoration means and methods
• Rotates through an on-call schedule taking leadership when called out to emergency situations; required to work after hours and weekends, on a rotation basis.
• Performs other tasks as assigned
• Takes instruction from assigned manager and communicates with them on a regular basis

Requirements:

• High School degree or higher
• Construction or restoration experience preferred, but not required
• Professionalism and Empathy
• Detail orientation and time management skills
• Strong oral and written communication
• Commitment to Customer Service
• Working knowledge of siding, home building, and hand tools
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery, product and installation problems
• Displays strong collaborative ability with peers, subordinates and managers
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
