Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Mitigation Manager for a well-established full service restoration business in the Boise, Idaho area. Locally owned and family operated since 2008, this company is the area expert in disaster repair and restoration.

The Mitigation Manager is responsible for responding to and managing a variety of property damage claims to residential and commercial structures. The Mitigation Manager must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills. This person will also be responsible for performing site inspections, setting up and leading the crew members, documenting losses with strong attention to detail, estimating the cost of the loss through the use of Xactimate, and negotiating with insurance carrier representatives.

This role is for a high energy person, who is self-motivated and able to manage services and people in a fast-paced environment!

Compensation

  • Base pay: $60,000 DOE

Responsibilities

  • Manage mitigation projects from start to completion
  • Use Xactimate to estimate residential and commercial mitigation projects
  • Manage and build high performing teams
  • Respond to property damage emergency calls as needed
  • Plan, organize and manage crews and subcontractors
  • Communicate and negotiate with insurance professionals
  • Communicate and work directly with property owners and insurers to address and resolve property damage
  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Review job profitably and analyze financial reports pertaining to the mitigation department
  • Complete site inspections
  • Participate in an on-call schedule to dispatch crews and/or take leadership when called out to emergency situations

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ project management experience, preferably in the restoration industry
  • Xactimate experience is required
  • IICRC or RIA certifications are preferred
  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills (detailed oriented person)
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean drug screen and driving record
