Firewater Restoration Services is a full-service mitigation and reconstruction company that has been serving the community for over 10 years. The Mitigation Manager is responsible for the operations of the mitigation division that consists of water mitigation, fire clean up, mold remediation, emergency board up services, and content cleaning/storage. The Mitigation Manager will provide direction and coordination of all field activities on mitigation projects, estimate losses through the use of Xactimate, manage the project schedule throughout the project lifecycle, and secure any unique materials, permits and/or equipment required to complete the project.

  • Daily operations of a 15+ person mitigation department
  • Prepare daily job schedules for the crews
  • Prepare estimates for water/fire/mold jobs using Xactimate software
  • Oversee local mitigation jobs to completion
  • Conduct quarterly performance evaluations of each team member
  • Oversee maintenance of vehicles, equipment and facilities
  • Report directly to owner


  • 2+ years’ experience in managing mitigation projects
  • Experience in recruiting, managing, and developing a team/crews
  • IICRC certifications preferred, or equivalent experience
  • Service-oriented, with strong people skills
  • Strong leadership, work ethic, and professionalism
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Self-motivated, mature, and accountable
  • Must be willing to undergo and pass a background check and have a clean driving record
