Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Contents Mover/Truck Driver for a restoration company in Bel Air, MD. The Contents Mover/Truck Driver is responsible for coordinating and delivering large containers of contents, picking up contents from our customers and handling all items with care. The Contents Mover/Truck Driver is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the warehouse and has the authority to report regular offenders of clutter, sloppiness and/or safety hazards. The neatness of our operation to individuals touring the facility on short notice or no notice is vital to the growth of our company and an important responsibility of this position. They are seeking a candidate with great communication skills and a positive attitude.

Compensation:

• Base salary: $18.00-22.00/hour, depending on experience
• Employee is eligible for overtime after 40 hours/week
• Bonus plan available DOE

Responsibilities:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must have a valid driver’s license and DOT for any/all class vehicles operated.
• Must be capable of driving a motor vehicle up to 25,999 lbs. GVW, 25 feet long.
• Be able to operate and maintain a 7,000 lb. forklift to load and unload vehicles.
• Managing relationships with the customers so great customer service skills are a necessity.
• Manage content crew members.
• Be capable of operating electronic devices to use inventory management software
• Be able to load and unload contents from vaults.
• Be able to lift 50lbs+ and carry furniture and boxes for delivery to and from customer homes.
• Operate and perform general maintenance on warehouse equipment.
• Must have the ability to read and write the English language, have the mental ability to handle receipts, read maps, road signs and maintain a record of duty status, etc.
• Must have great written and oral communication skills and the ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
• Additional duties required as needed

Requirements:

• 2+ years’ experience as a truck driver
• Experience as a forklift driver a plus
• Customer Service experience a plus
• Ability to read, write and understand the English language
• Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
• Strong communication skills, written and oral
• Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
• Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
