Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the disaster restoration industry, is hiring a Contents Department Manager for a restoration company near State College, PA. The Contents Department Manager is responsible for the oversight and management of the project cycle for the contents portion of the restoration projects by providing direction and coordination of all field activities related to the crews and any coordinated subcontracts, as well as keeping track of P&Ls, hiring, and other manager-related responsibilities. The Contents Department Manager will exceed established standards of production performance through continuous process improvement, training, and development of production team, as well as on-site work. They are seeking a candidate with exceptional leadership skills and a positive attitude.

  • $60,000-$75,000 Base (DOE)

  • Manage and estimate jobs for the contents division
  • Work directly with insurance adjusters and clients
  • Responsible for all content documents and photos
  • Monitor and report on progress
  • Manage and analyze P&Ls
  • Define tasks, assign staff, and develop schedules
  • Respond to property damage emergency calls
  • Establish and maintain client relationships
  • Attend all appropriate company meetings
  • Attend regular company sponsored training sessions
  • Manage content crew members
  • Additional duties required as needed


  • 2+ years’ experience as a contents manager within the restoration industry is preferred
  • General knowledge of the industry and/or product channel or the ability to quickly learn
  • Certifications in IICRC water, fire and other relevant courses is preferred
  • Proficiency in Xactimate is preferred
  • Experience in managing business operations, direct reports, and budgets
  • Possess exceptional organizational and planning skills (detail oriented person)
  • Ability to recognize and solve problems independently
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated, responsible and accountable
  • Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean driving record
