Wylander Solutions, a recruiting company specializing in the construction industry, is hiring a Construction Project Manager for an outstanding construction/restoration business  located in Dallas, Texas.

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the daily management, coordination and oversight of all phases of construction projects including project planning, execution, and closure. The Project Manager plans and directs all construction activities and administrative processes to deliver high quality projects on time and within budget throughout the life cycle of the project.

Compensation:

  • Base salary: $50,000-$60,000 Base (DOE)
  • Quarterly Incentive Plan

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all pre-construction activities for successful project roll-out
  • Assume primary responsibility for profit/loss on assigned projects
  • Set and manage client expectations
  • Respond to emergency property damage calls when required
  • Manage all subcontractors and vendors according to the project schedule
  • Develop and maintain successful relationships with subcontractors, insurance agents, adjusters and homeowners.
  • Verify that quality of each phase of finished work meets company standards and homeowner expectations
  • Manage teams (superintendents, coordinators and subcontractors)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of construction experience, preferably in the residential restoration industry
  • Knowledge of insurance claim procedures
  • Exceptional skills in communication, leadership, organization, teamwork, accuracy, attention to detail, time management, conflict resolution, cost management
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage and grow high performing teams
  • Ability to utilize the latest server and cloud based computer technology including: Xactimate estimating software
  • Desire to consistently strive to implement and maintain strong understanding of construction operations and procedures
  • Ability to foster relationships with clients, subcontractor and vendors
  • Must pass a background check, drug screen and have a clean driving record
